The platform has an advanced ranking algorithm that ranks businesses based on how Digitally Fit they are. Digitally Fit businesses are those that have an online presence, which include a website and social media visibility among others.

The platform celebrates top ranked businesses during an annual award called Digitally Fit Awards. Though started in Kenya, the platform is now visible globally.
